Africa’s Anti-Corruption Day 2022
On this day, Husika in partnership with YWLI held a twitter space to discuss the role of youth in combating corruption, increase awareness of corruption issues, generate community responsibility amongst youth, and encourage action on how to prevent corruption.
Congratulations to the cohort IV and V of data analytics.
We continue to provide a learning platform for the AGYW in our community. As a result, the learners become more digitally literate, thus reducing the digital gap.
Anti-corruption youth dialogue.
We held a session with young people with the aim of sensitizing them to be aware of the cost of corruption, encourage them to act for greater common good, and challenge corruption at their individual level.
Collection of opinions of adolescent girls on R.H policy 2022-2032.
Supported by TICAH, we had an opportunity to review and discuss the Reproductive Health Policy 2022-2032 with adolescent girls in our community.
Teenage Dating Violence
We held a session with teenage girls to enlighten them on T.D.V, which is a type of intimate partner violence that includes: physical violence, sexual violence, psychological aggression, and stalking. Teen dating Violence impacts one’s lifelong health, opportunity, and wellbeing.
The good news is that violence is preventable and young people can grow up violence-free.
