Issue 04/August 2022
Building a sense of community around our work gives a feeling of satisfaction and substantial joy as we aspire to fully impact positively.
Youth-Led Accountability Forum.
We held a youth forum where we discussed matters of priority when it comes to voting. Do young people vote to advance the interests of older generations in power, without considering their own priorities?
Parents’ Engagement Forum on Response Mechanisms to challenges faced by Adolescents.
We engaged parents in awareness raising of the challenges their adolescent girls go through, and educate them on ways they can assist the children to ensure positive development.
In-School Mentorship Sessions.
We continue to engage adolescents on life skills issues to help them build and sustain healthy and positive relationships with others.
Digital Skills Empowerment for Young Women.
We have continued empowering young women with digital skills and knowledge. This month, our Cohort VI Data Analytics finished their course, and Cohort VII registration is ongoing.
Women empowerment means valuing women as important and worthwhile human beings; and recognizing the need for social change if women are to lead secure and satisfying livelihoods.
